Souled Out

At Cornerstone Church, we are dedicated to creating followers of Jesus who are committed to the mission of Jesus in the world. Our high school ministry, or as we call it Souled Out, embodies this vision by fostering places where we can create life on life relationships. We wanted to give you a brief overview of how our ministry works. It is composed of four areas:
Wednesday Nights
Wednesday nights is the most visible part of Souled Out. On this night we gather all our high school students together in fellowship, worship, and the teaching of God’s Word. It gives students a chance to see their fellow students and leaders weekly. It occurs every Wednesday from 7-9 pm at our church warehouse. SUMMER MEETING PLACE: From June 23-August 4, 2010, we will be meeting at the Drollinger Home. The address is 22831 Market Street | Newhall, CA 91321. Get directions from Google Maps
Discipleship
Discipleship is the heart of Souled Out. It is our goal, and we believe our biblical responsibility, to meet with every student in a one-on-one manner. This occurs by arranging bi-weekly small groups where students and staff live life-on-life. These small groups gather in coffee houses, taco shops, malls, and any other place to study God’s word, confess sin, pray, and grow. We also provide Saturday morning 1st of the month Dig ins, where we gather at one of the leader’s houses to eat breakfast together and dig into the more complex things of our faith.
Service
Service is the visible expression of our love for Jesus. We believe in serving not only the SCV but the greater Los Angles area. This happens by taking our students out of their comfort zone and placing them in places where they can be challenged to think critically on God’s love. Our service events also cover various areas in the life of Cornerstone Church.
Outreach
Outreach is an important component and a fundamental part of Souled Out. All of our other events fuel this by creating students who are prepared to live missionally in their schools, homes, and hanging out with their friends. We also have quarterly outreach events for students to bring their friends too.
Souled Out High School ministry is committed to the students of members of Cornerstone Church. Our primary mission is to shape students that will have an impact in the church body, but also will have an impact in the world. We would love to see your student involved in this ministry.
